After stumbling with big-budget bombs like Pearl Harbor and The Island, Michael Bay returns to form with a flashy film adaptation of the classic Hasbro toy line, Transformers. Easily the best movie ever made about action figures, it’s also the most exciting flick you’ll see all summer.

While recent action movies like Spider-Man 3 have been predictable duds, Transformers delivers on all levels. From the unbelievable special effects that bring badass robots like Starscream and Bumblebee to life to the scorching hot star, Megan Fox, you’ll still be thinking about this flick a month from now when you’re sitting through two laughless hours of Rush Hour 3.

As is the case with most of Bay’s movies, Transformers goes on for way too long. By the time Optimus Prime and Megatron do battle, you’ll feel your pre-movie buzz wearing off. But what do you expect from the guy who felt the need to make Bad Boys 2 nearly three hours long?

Darius McCrary, who you might know best as Eddie Winslow from Family Matters, lends his voice to the Autobot Jazz. Check out the FHM Online interview, where he discusses his love of porn and Steve Urkel, here.
